Throat Chakra

The blue chakra is at the throat, which makes me think of a tube or vertical lines, so I'm creating blue stripes inside the mandala. I've just started so I only have 4 shades of blue incorporated so far.

Heart Chakra Complete!

Finished the green heart chakra tonight! I like it if I do say so myself. Only three left - blue, indigo and violet. 

Can't wait to get started on the BJP! I actually have ideas already. I plan to test some out this weekend so I can make up my mind.

Heart Chakra Update

My goddaughter knocked over my tray of beads! But my mom helped me separate them, all except the two shades of lime green - one plain opaque and one with ab finish that look so much alike. Guess who's eyes are tired?

Anyway, I plan to have this one finished before Bead Journal Project 2010 starts. I'm going to work diligently on the blue one done as well since I'm actually taking vacation time this year. I usually don't but I'm going into the new year rested for once! :)

Heart Chakra

I haven't had a lot of time to work on the green heart chakra, but I did start it. Doing a heart shape in a round pattern isn't easy! But I think it looks pretty organic and I like it. This one will be a little weird because the ruffle won't be even all the way around. I'm excited to see what it will look like when it's done. Once the heart is complete, I'll probably add in some other shades of green.

Yellow Mandala

I finished the yellow mandala tonight and started on the green one. Making the heart might be a little more difficult than I thought since my mandalas are real circles and not hexagonal. Does anyone have graph paper for true circular peyote?
